The Design Concept

When I developed the Classic Colonial Homes design series, my intent was not to step back in time and produce a collection of historically accurate reproductions. Rather, it was to combine modern floor plans with traditional exterior designs and to capture within these designs, the warmth, charm and character that we admire in the most beautiful antique New England homes.

The designs come from personal impressions developed by years of exposure to colonial New England architecture. They are not exact replicas, but they do have the correct proportions, form, scale and detailing to establish their particular style and air of authenticity and if built as designed, they too will be admired by future generations.

We offer Weather Tight Shell Packages, complete with Exterior Trim, Interior Trim, Windows, Doors, Roofing and Siding for the homes we design. Our goal is to help clients create the home of their dreams in the most efficient, convenient and precise method possible. Call us for more information.
