The Early Saltbox One
To maintain its air of authenticity, we suggest a monochromatic paint or heavy bodied stain for the exterior of the main house. The roof should be done with sawn cedar shingles or an architectural asphalt shingle in a slate color. With the change in siding on the breezeway and carriage shed you have two finish options. You can use the same color scheme as the main house or you can use contrasting colors. I would suggest a dark black-brown stain to imitate weathered barn board and the same "colonial" color for the window sash and doors.
Gathering room with fireplace, open kitchen / breakfast area, formal dining room and parlor. Mud room entry with combined half bath / laundry and heated stairs to space above garage.
Bed rooms (#1 & #2), full bath and master bed room (#3) with 2 walk-in closets and full bath.
